This eclipse in Capricorn is wrapping up a story since 2018 when the Cancer/Capricorn eclipses started. An area of your life has been getting worked on. Dealing with the Can/Cap axis it’s themes are around physical, financial security or work, ambition and emotional security or family, emotional needs and self care.
Saturn Rx rules this Moon in Capricorn. Saturn has just moved back into Capricorn, wrapping up some business or an area of life that’s getting a big restructuring. Saturn is commitment, responsibilities and determination to get the job done. The hard work is worth the climb and with Uranus in a trine you may find that it happens quicker or you have a new sense of freedom and ease then you had before.
Full Moon’s are a culmination and completion point with Eclipses the energy stays around for months. And as you know Eclipses, as some may say is a “wild card” energy or theme and you just don’t know what that may be. As always, go look at your personal birth chart to see the area’s of life it’ been happening in since July 2018.
New Moon eclipse at 0 deg Cancer, also falls on the Solstice (Sun’s ingress into Cancer and the longest day of the year). This is a new beginning with a lot of energy. It’s an eclipse, a wild card energy, I would put off any planned new beginnings as you would normally do with a new moon, eclipses are kinda doing it for you. Like I said it’s the wild card and it’s unknown, only the cosmos or universe knows. It’s the 2nd in 3 eclipse, and you never really know what this change is about and may not really know for sure to start off with, it can take up to 6 months for you to see or be in the change. Saturn is timing as well, patience, endurance and discipline maybe your greatest allies at this time to whatever is happening in your life, with this you find strength within(spiritual).
It’s in the sign of Cancer areas of home, family, safety, security, comfort, food and emotional needs. I also see cancer as the most inner private emotional self (heart), will play apart for this highly energized eclipse.
Saturn in Aquarius is in a quincunx or inconjunct to this eclipse, a quincunx is incompatible connection it’s difficult to understand and adjustments are needed, somehow the connection needs to be integrated. We all know Saturn restricts, limits, slows you down plus it’s rules or authority. It may be a slow start, a holding back of emotions or needs, for some it’s being cautious about a new start. Integrating what you need or want (Sun/Moon) and what you have to do (Saturn) – Freedom & Restrictions, this is why it’s best to be patient, persevere, be responsible.
With 5 planet Rx, nothing is moving fast, more about the inner journey, pausing, proceeding slowly and going over areas again, doing the past before you can do the future. Venus goes direct on the 25th, here some of what you want or need may start to be addressed.
Like always go check out your own birth chart for more information about where this will impact you the most.
The New Moon in Gemini has aspects to Saturn, Neptune, Mercury and Venus. It’s an air moon, ruler is Mercury, which is conjunct Venus in Gemini. What’s Gemini communication, ideas, choices and information add desire, attraction or longing thrown in (Venus).
Sun/Moon trine Saturn Rx in Aquarius, any new information, news, messages or ideas are grounded and practical, are clear, sure and straightforward. But the Venus/Mercury square to Neptune, makes it foggy. Neptune can draw you in, you may even get lost in an idea or thought or attraction. Don’t lose sight of what is real, what is sure, stick to a rule or structure, go back to Saturn, stay grounded, be practical and mature.
Trying to pin things into place at the New Moon will be slippery. There will be points of clarity or signs along the way which will let you know what direction to go or choice to make. I guess stay open and flexible, ask questions if any confusion or doubt arises. Be discerning as much as you can and think about all the information that you have on hand until it all becomes clear.
As always know where this full moon is happening in Your birth chart for a deeper understanding about what’s happening for you.
The May 7th full moon in Scorpio opposite Sun/Mercury in Taurus may illuminate information or what’s on your mind. A full moon is the peak point, culmination, something leaves/ends or stops. You may be emotionally driven to finish something off, with the Moon opposite Sun/Mercury in Taurus its solid/tangible or something you’ve been thinking about or talking about may finally get to a point of finishing.
There’s a nice easy trine to Neptune, if you’ve been feeling blocked or just not been able to, you find that Neptune’s flow will help. Neptune’s influence opens up, flows and releases any emotions that are hidden or stuck, as it’s a Full Moon in Scorpio, some may be lurking about. Taurus, you have what you need to succeed.
Use this Full Moon to gently move you forward, whatever has reached the point of culmination allow it to wrap up and move on. Mercury in Taurus, any information that’s around is based in reality, solid and look at the facts.

This new moon in Taurus squares Saturn in Aquarius, brings in tension, an edge to the energy, it may involve a new set of rules or responsibilities, feelings of frustration around delays or restriction comes with it. It’s a waiting game while trying to manifest this new start (it’s about the long term changes) under this Taurus new moon be patient, dig in and do what you have to do, be resourceful and use the resource you have while you wait.
Don’t over complicate it, (even though it’s all too complicated), keep it simple as much as you can. It’s all about the waiting and what you do in that time. Do the Taurus thing go slow, be steady and sturdy, eat the food you love, sleep, pamper, nourish and nurture yourself, and while you have the time, go look at what really matters to you, what really do you value(Taurus) in areas of money, love, where you put your thoughts, time and energy. Don’t waste your time or energy on things that know longer bring you joy, value and real meaning to your life. You don’t want to use your future energy up now on things that no longer bring value or joy. Plus what do you want to take into the future with you?
Sun and Moon both meet up with Uranus after the new moon, this can bring in some form of liberation around restriction, a burst of energy or information that lightens things up. It is Uranus so it can be delivered quickly or jarring and maybe a surprise, so just watch out for this. Remember to stay grounded and keep it real.
Saturn rewards all the hard work that you do, but you are going to have to wait for the solid, secure, structure(Taurus) to be put in place. You may find the Taurus season of April-May things solidify. It’s a start, now you patiently wait.
This new moon in Aries conjunct Chiron, square the nodes is a new beginning, it may be painful and it will hurt (chiron) also a turning point between the past and future.

Stay present in the moment, focus on the now, face what’s right in front of you.
Chiron conjuncts this new moon, feeling vulnerable, pain/wounded, Chiron being in Aries makes it proactive, the only way to work with Chiron is to heal what hurts. The more you work with the pain you discover the gifts of your healing, which brings in strength, wisdom and empowers you. This is Chiron gift.
Were moving into new territory with the square to the nodes, past and future, a choice is upon you, a turning point. South node (past) in Capricorn, structures, rules, tradition, the known, go North to Cancer (future), which is emotional stability and security, feeling safe. Sun/Neptune conjunction, may have found you just wanting to float away, the emotions or feelings may have been making you feel stuck or just not enjoying yourself, however the Virgo Moon arrives in time, to ground, anchor and bring you back down to earth, to help you get clear about what to do next and how to do it.

In general, new moons are about a beginning of something, this one may involve an ending, putting something to rest, letting go and surrendering. The Sun and Moon are conjunct to Mercury Rx, what have you been thinking about, what’s going on in your head, what are you communicating to yourself about or what’s stuck in your head that you keep going over? The thoughts you’re having may help with the beginning which is also the end. Another way is to be open, receptive and intuitive to help you find the beginning and the end.
Either, get out of your head and go into feeling or get in your head and pay attention to what is going on in there. Listen and feel, will lead to knowing. Keep in mind that this is a Pisces new moon, make sure that it’s all still rooted into reality, don’t go into delusion or illusion, sand castle in the sky mode, hopefully the earth bond energies will keep you grounded.
Mars in Capricorn is harmoniously connecting to this moon, if there’s any action or way to go, Mars helps you by showing you the way or what to do. It may come in a thought, an intuitive feeling, a deep knowing. You may find that this is a way through Moon, that get’s you out of a place, situation, something that’s been hanging around since December. Being a Pisces moon, there may be a surrendering of something, handing it over, relaxing into what is.
Trust in what you feel.
Uranus in Taurus, helping you to go forward into the new future, helping with any changes that you have been going through or that are happening. Both are in earth signs offering support and stability which helps you to build. Which is what we are all doing, building a new identity, life and world. Nice time to leave some things behind.
