I really love, like astrology it’s been a real blessing in my life and has helped me understand a lot of the things, that have happened or are happening or are coming. Plus I got to understand myself better, which is one of the great reason to know your chart.
I encourage you all, to get to know your birth chart. Get to know more about yourself, how you work and how you could work better, have a look at your strength and weakness, It’s a useful tool, a map, a guide book on your journey.
Go, get yourself a birth chart from a website, http://www.astro.com/ is a good one, their are many out there and you can get it for free, you do need to know your birth time to get a more actuate chart.
First thing I would recommend is to just look at it, It’s a pie cut into 12 pieces (houses), numbered 1 – 12, first house, second house, etc, see where the planets are placed, or if a house is empty, don’t try and work it out too much, all you’re doing is remembering the image in your mind to call on. Get to know what planet is in what zodiac sign and in what house, print it out and look at it, so you can recall it when you need to.
An example, Saturn is in Sagittarius, leaves at the end of the year. Do you have any planets in Sagittarius, where is Sagittarius in your birth chart, what house? By knowing this you will know what you are in for and how it will impact you.
For instance I have Moon in Sag in the 4th house, Sun in Sag in the 5th house, when any planet enters Sagittarius I know it will conjunct my Moon and Sun in my birth chart, this will bring in new energy.
You would google, Sun (transiting) conjunct Moon (birth) in Sagittarius for info on what that means. If you want to really get into it add the house to it. However I would recommend that for later.
Look at where your Sun and Moon are, they are the most important place to start, then get to know all of the other planets placements in time.
With this image in your mind you can work with the transits.
“The natal chart is seen as a static snapshot of a specific point in time, depicting exactly where the planets were when a person was born, whereas a “transit” involves the study of where the planets will be in the future.” and in the now. From theastrologydictionary.com
Follow the Sun around the wheel of your birth chart. As you know, the Sun (illuminates, shine) stays in each Zodiac sign for a about one month.
As the Sun moves around the wheel it will make contact with Planets in your birth chart, Conjuncts, sextiles, oppositions, squares and trines are all going to happen, by knowing your chart you can work with and be aware of what is happening or what you are being triggered by.
Sun is your purpose, the self, one’s personality, individuality, will, think of the Sun shining in the sky, it’s strong, it simply radiates out on the world, and yes it can also be overpowering, hot, to in your face.
The Sun is the present moment, what you want.
You can do the same with the Moon, Moon moves a lot quicker it stays in a Zodiac sign for about 2-2.5 days, it is transiting all signs in the month. Ha, which can explain why some people are so moody. If you have many planets all in the one sign you get triggered as the moon goes over them, reflecting back to you an emotion, and this is happening every month for you.
Moon is your emotions, feeling, intuition, reflects back to you, around you. Think of the Moon big and bright, changing all the time, dark and hidden.
Represents the past, is what you need.
That, right there’s a reason to know your birth chart so you can work with the energies by knowing what is happening and when.
Keep in mind all things take time, cycles are slow, some move faster. Their is a rhythm to astrology, it pulses and move. I hope you find your’s.
As above, so below!
2017 make it the year you get to know yourself better by working with your birth chart, go do some googling or better still get yourself and astrology reading for a basic chart intro to you.
